Well I couldn’t wait and I am procrastinating coloring my redesigns by simple continuing to sketch and ink more daikaiju!
So here is the line art for Gojira Phase 1. I wouldn’t really call this a redesign – just a slight modification to GFW. This is because my Gojira redesign really happens after that point in my Godzilla universe.
I am not completely happy with it, but this is basically the classic Gojira – so I didn’t want to spend too much time on it. I will color to this and my head detail and add them to the reference sheet some time in the next week or two

Very nice, and I'll comment more on it in that section. My favorite film-Goji was the one we saw in Godzilla vs. Biollante, before they bulked him up a touch for the rest of the Heisei era; however, G'84 was fairly imposing AND still sported fairly expressive eyes.
